At All About Children- Barrett Road, happiness and independence are at the heart of everything we do. We intentionally encourage self-help skills, nurture empathy for others and celebrate music and culture as part of everyday learning. Communication is valued and strengthened, with literacy and numeracy meaningfully woven through our teaching practice. This is a place where your child’s individuality is truly nurtured, and where their ambitions, growth and achievements are recognised and celebrated.
Our Philosophy
Our centre philosophy is grounded in the value of respect. We believe respect places the child at the centre of all our interactions, decision making and daily rituals. We celebrate each other’s unique cultural values and beliefs by embracing the diversity within our centre whānau and wider community. Through tuakana-teina relationships, we empower whānau and kaiako to develop a shared vision for the learning and teaching of all our tamariki. As we journey together, we give each other the gift of time, strengthening our connections and collective growth.
Our Team
Led by our qualified and experienced Centre Manager, Penny Gore, our team of teachers bring strong educational backgrounds and a genuine passion for early childhood education. Our kaiako (teachers) are committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice, ensuring they continue to deepen their knowledge. We value strong, respectful relationships with whānau, working in partnership to support each child’s learning journey. Together, we create a supportive and inspiring environment that equips children with the skills, confidence and curiosity needed for lifelong learning.
Parent Feedback
The kaiako are incredible, engaging and kind. My daughter loves it here and my boy is starting in a few weeks.
