At All About Children – Barrett Road, children come first. We offer a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential. Our passionate team provides learning experiences for each age and stage. We encourage curiosity, independence and the joy of learning. With well-resourced classrooms, strong relationships with whānau and a focus on holistic development, we provide more than just care. We provide a place where children thrive.
Not just care, but a place where your child is known.
Meals with a difference!
Our centre includes a dedicated dining room, or kai room as we call it, alongside our kitchen. Our two preschool classrooms enjoy their meals together in this space, supporting independence and social connection. We are fortunate to have a dedicated centre cook who prepares fresh, nutritious kai each day using local food suppliers, providing three meals daily for our tamariki.
Our Intentional Teaching Philosophy
Every day is thoughtfully planned with purpose. Our teachers carefully observe children’s interests, strengths and plan next steps to design meaningful learning experiences. We create inviting environments that spark curiosity, encourage investigation and extend thinking. These experiences are deliberately crafted to challenge and support each child’s development.
Our promise is guaranteed learning and guaranteed progress for your child. Through responsive teaching, ongoing assessment and strong partnerships with whānau, we ensure every child is supported, extended and empowered to grow.
Convenient Location
Our centre is perfectly positioned in Whalers Gate, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy for busy families. With convenient access and ample parking nearby, your daily routine is stress-free.
As a bonus, there’s a cafe right next door, which is the perfect spot to meet a friend or take a moment for yourself after drop-off. It’s all part of creating a supportive and connected community around your child’s learning journey.
Parent Feedback
The kaiako are incredible, engaging and kind. My daughter loves it here and my boy is starting in a few weeks.
