‘IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD. A CHILD HAS THE ABILITY TO BECOME A HEALTHY ADULT IF THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY TAKES AN ACTIVE ROLE IN CONTRIBUTING TO THE REARING OF THE CHILD.’

All about children preschool is unique because of what we have to offer. Like the days of old your child will experience play in the natural world where children climb trees, jump in puddles, paint, explore and kids can just be kids. Your child will experience a class with out walls and not be trapped in a small back yard surrounded by fences for 5 days of the week. As he or she will be taken out on a weekly excursion where they will explore rock pools, hunt for bears in the forest and just run through long grass. Titahi Bay has all of this to offer so why not use it.

Your baby will be nurtured with the highest of quality care by a team of very dedicated and experienced teachers. Yes your baby will also experience the wider world as they are taken out for nature walks in our 6 seater pram.

Your child’s teachers are experienced and qualified and will work alongside you, supporting and encouraging your child to be confident, independent and to grow into capable life long learners.
Please take some time to browse through our website so you can see more of what your child and you will experience.

Our Vision
“Reconnecting Children and Nature”, “See It”, “Live It”, “Breath It”, “Whakapāngia nā tamariki ki te tai ao, tautokongia, whakaorangaia, tukuna te hā”
Our Philosophy

We as teachers aim to provide a fun, safe, high quality educational programme and natural environment that facilitates and incorporates each child’s individual interests and learning.
Through collaborative relationships with parents and whanau, teachers will empower children by respecting and encouraging them to make their own decisions and be responsible for their learning and development. Through this children will develop confidence and self-esteem to make discoveries about their wider world.

“And together through our natural world we will learn and grow”.
