About Greta Point

We focus on building strong connections with our whānau and the local community. Our curriculum, based on Te Whāriki and Te Whare Tapa Whā, ensures that children grow holistically and develop a love for learning.

Our centre offers spacious, well-equipped indoor and outdoor areas, tailored to suit the needs of each age group. From sensory-rich spaces for infants to a large playground for our older children, we provide a safe and stimulating environment that fosters learning through play.

Our Team

We have a dedicated and passionate team who have been working together for over 2.5 years, with some members having been part of the centre for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on creating a warm, welcoming environment where families feel part of the journey. Communication and working together as a team are at the heart of what we do.

Our Centre Manager

I’m Amanda, I am a qualified and fully registered ECE kaiako with a Bachelor of Education.

I have been working with tamariki for nearly 11 years and loved every minute of it! I am a very passionate kaiako and love working alongside Whānau and tamariki. Music, dancing singing and messy play is one of my favourites. I have been a teacher for nearly 10 years and have enjoyed all the opportunities I have been given.

Parent Feedback

We were so worried about how daycare would go but everyone at All About Children (formerly known as AE) was so kind and caring with our little one. He became so confident while he was there and was very happy at drop off, so we knew he was being cared for and having fun. We miss you guys!

The staff are friendly and are really engaged with the children. There is a lot of variety in the activities they do and when asked they always say they have had a good day. The luxury of having an on-site chef with such good food is amazing.

Our little family has been part of the Active Explorers Greta Point whānau for almost 5 years now and we wouldn’t have it any other way. The Kaiako are friendly, they are engaging and they value our children’s needs and wants. The classroom spaces and outdoor areas are large.
