Formerly known as Bronwyn’s Place, All About Children Titahi Bay is family-owned and professionally run. Our long opening hours (7am to 6pm) and convenient location (under five-minute drive from the heart of Porirua) make us popular with parents in the area.
Making the most of our huge outdoor play area – the largest in the Porirua and Titahi Bay areas – and an established nature adventure programme, we reconnect children and nature. They grow up benefitting from the outdoors every day whilst having fun and creating lifelong memories.
Our holistic approach focuses on supporting the growth of your child’s body, mind, and soul using the outdoors as our nature-led, wall-less learning ground. When our wise little ones leave us for school, they’re fully equipped with creativity and social intelligence thanks to our hands-on learning programme. We recognise parents as first educators and work collaboratively to help every child reach their full potential.
Ours is an emergent curriculum where we let children lead their own world. We focus on what you child can do and not what they can’t do. We also refrain from telling children what to think, rather our experienced staff teaches them how to think, taking the route of observation and collaboration with parents. By providing emotional security and a stimulating environment, our programme works to establish children to be independent, self-aware and self-determined.
Located in the lap of nature, we have a huge outdoor play area that serves as the perfect wall-less classroom for our nature-inspired programme. Indoor and outdoor spaces are seamlessly connected and resourced to engage your child. Light-filled and warm, our is a space that welcomes all.
Our long-serving staff have nurtured many children in the community over the past two decades; and they look forward to taking care of yours. With centre manager Rose Duffy at the realm, our experienced and qualified teachers work to build the trust and grow your little one into the best version of themselves. Book a tour to meet our team.
Their nature walks are amazing for children’s education not only on nature but every that is going on in the community.
My boy has been here three years now and loves ‘go see my friends now’ ‘school open’. We even had to run all the way down once because he was scared school would be closed if we didn’t hurry!
My daughter loves it here! From the nurturing, welcoming staff to the all the different experiences within the centre and outside, the opportunity is amazing.
