We are more than a childcare centre. Our philosophy is grounded in real world learning that goes beyond the classroom. Each day, rain or shine, we head out on nature-based excursions such as bush walks to the base of Mount Wellington and time spent exploring the outdoors. These experiences encourage curiosity, creativity and resilience, while giving children the confidence to use their voice and take the lead in their learning.
Our curriculum creates meaningful opportunities for children to connect with nature in ways that support their wellbeing and interests. Tamariki thrive when they are able to explore the natural world regularly and with purpose. Our days are thoughtfully planned to provide consistent opportunities to play, discover and learn across a range of outdoor environments, supporting problem solving and a growing appreciation for the world around them.

Our kaiako provide open-ended resources and carefully prepared environments that spark curiosity and imagination. Our Curriculum

Our Centre
Our space is warm and welcoming, designed to spark curiosity from the moment children arrive. Nestled at the foothill of Mount Wellington, our expansive outdoor environment sits at the heart of the centre, with mature trees and play spaces that encourage movement, exploration and active learning.
Housed in a beautifully converted Californian bungalow, our indoor and outdoor spaces flow naturally together. Inside, each area is thoughtfully set up with high quality resources that support play, invite challenge and encourage children to grow in confidence as they learn.
